Expertise. Commitment. Value.

Profile

Welcome! You'll soon learn that I am incredibly passionate about residential real estate. But I'm also a mom, a wife, a houseplant aficionado, and an excellent parallel parker. I believe that kitchens were made for dancing and that every home should have a tambourine.

I moved to Rochester after graduating from SUNY Geneseo in 2005 and remained in the southeast quadrant of the city until we moved to Fairport in 2016. I love Rochester. I'm obsessed. And, in my completely biased opinion, Fairport is the very best village along the Erie Canal. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, we can talk real estate.

I strongly believe that my role as a real estate agent is to analyze data and provide information to clients so that they may make educated decisions. I don't always agree with the tack my clients take - and I don't need to. If I have ensured that my clients understand all facets of the property, market, and transaction, then I trust them to make the right decisions for themselves.

Below you'll see my credentials - they show that I am uniquely qualified for this job: a history degree that allows me to thoroughly and accurately research and analyze properties and trends and a counseling degree that helps me to work knowledgeably and empathetically with people from different backgrounds and experiences.

Since becoming a licensed real estate salesperson, I have added to my education in the field (and continue to do so). I am a Certified Home Finance Resource and a notary public. I regularly participate in webinars, classes, continuing education, and roundtables.

I love real estate. I love the Rochester area. And I am so lucky to work with colleagues and clients who make my job feel like anything but work.

Buying

Whether you’re buying your first home or your fifth, it’s a big deal. It’s important that you find the right house, in the right location, for the right price. I would much rather my clients move on from a so-so house, than to buy and have regrets or second guesses.

When first working with clients, I like to meet (virtually or physically) to discuss everything from your likes and dislikes, your preferences and quirks, to your long-term financial and personal goals. I’ll explain the nitty gritty about viewing houses and the process from making an offer to closing.

From there, we’ll hit the ground running! I’ll guide you throughout the process and offer up recommendations (if needed) for mortgage brokers, inspectors, attorneys – every professional you might need.

My help doesn’t end at the closing table – find yourself needing an electrician a few months down the road? Call me! Have you decided to renovate that bathroom you were sure you could live with until the kids were out of daycare? Send me a text! Are you questioning whether an improvement might affect your potential resale value? Shoot me an email! I’m more than happy to offer up a suggestion – as long as you promise to send me before and after pictures!

Let’s set up a video chat to discuss the home buying process, your ideal home, location, and ameneties. This is a no-sweat, no commitment first step to finding your perfect home!

Selling

Selling your house can be exciting! It can also be anxiety inducing and emotionally draining and downright stressful.

Maybe you’ve been in your house for 40 years, countless memories have been made there, and your home feels like it’s an actual member of your family. Maybe you’ve been in your house for 3 years and you’ve been offered your dream job in San Diego. Maybe you’ve had a couple of kids and you feel like your house is bursting at the seams.

Regardless, you need an agent who is an expert on the current local market, who can be very honest with you about pricing and preparing your home for sale, and who honors your decisions.
